I spend a lot of my spare time at my Iyonix (previously at my Risc PC). On this site you can find some odd programmes that I've written. They only run under RISC OS; if you're running any other operating system, then they are of no use to you. They are freeware. For copyright information, see the individual application.
AntiSpam is a spam deleting programme for use with POP3 mailboxes. It is Iyonix compatible.
!MTPrint is a multi-tasking print spooler for use with the RISC OS port of Samba server.
UDP_msgs is a pair of very simple programmes to send and receive messages between two computers via UDP.
WakeUp is a Wake On LAN (WOL) programme.
Restart is a small BASIC programme to stop and restart a task.
DRU-R100 is an application to control a D-Link DRU-R100 USB radio from an Iyonix, or from a RISC OS computer with a Castle USB expansion card. I think it's neat - but I'm biassed.
AVerMedia is an application to control an AVerMedia USB FM radio from any RISC OS computer with a Castle or Simtec USB interface. This includes the Iyonix, anything with a Castle USB podule, anything with a Unipod and anything with a Simtec USB podule. I think this is just as neat as the one above, since it looks and works just the same. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST!
K8055 is a demo application to send data to, and display data from, a Velleman K8055 USB I/O card. READ THE NOTES FIRST!
Flow (updated to version 1.09 2006 December 9) is a simple flowchart drawing/editing application. It started out life under Arthur as a magazine freebie. I last edited it in 1995, yet it runs on the Iyonix! Since a few people were talking about drawing flow charts in one of the newsgroups recently, I volunteered to put it up here. It seems to do the simple task that it was intended to do.
Missile is an application to control one of the USB Missile Launchers that's popular at the moment. Have fun :-)
ROFS is a Read Only Filing System that will read USB drives bigger that 2GB. Currently Iyonix only.
Hamster is an application to control a USB Hamster Wheel. The faster you type, the faster the hamster runs. Have some more fun :-)
MsgBoard is an application to drive a Dream Cheeky USB LED Message Board, recently sold by Maplin under their part number N88GA. Have even more fun :-)
RCMini is an application to drive a Dream Cheeky USB RC Car. More and more fun :-)
RCTank is an application to control an Executive Mayhem USB RC Tank Missile Launcher. Fun - is there no end to it? :-)
JDServer is a print server application. A printer, connected to a RISC OS computer, is shared out by the JetDirect (Raw) protocol.
iyoPhone is a VoIP softphone application. It uses SIP. This is only alpha quality, but it's good enough to be useful. Sadly this one is IYONIX ONLY.
MBoxAlert is an application to control a Dream Cheeky Mail Box Friends Alert. I hope this will be a useful alternative way to alert users to the arrival of new mail, etc.
SDActive is an application to swap the "Active" or "Inactive" status of the first partition of a memory card or disc drive, and to display the four partition entries in human readable form. It is most likely to be useful in preparing micro SD or micro SDHC cards for a BeagleBoard xM, which will not boot unless the first partition is Active.
BBFlash is an application to write or rewrite a micro SD, micro SDHC, SD, SDHC or MMC card for a BeagleBoard or BeagleBoard xM with all of the files necessary to boot it. This means you can use a conventionally FAT-formatted card without having to reformat it or reduce its capacity. If you write a card for an xM from new, you will probably also need SDActive (above) in my experience, in order to get it to boot.
